Private beta
Malleus is an experimental VMBARS tool for medical-school applicants who want sharper, more useful feedback without handing authorship over to AI. It helps clarify what you are trying to say, strengthen structure and evidence, identify gaps and repetition, and preserve the experiences and voice that are actually yours.
Share the essay prompt, word or character limit, and where you are in the process.
Malleus can work from a draft, outline, or notes. It should never invent experiences, motivations, accomplishments, or reflections.
Where useful, provide a CV, prior essays, activity descriptions, biography, notes, or other material that helps Malleus understand you rather than treating the essay in isolation.
Malleus looks at story, structure, specificity, evidence, redundancy, clarity, fit to the prompt, and what may be missing. Feedback prioritizes the highest-yield changes first.
Return with a new draft to see what improved, what remains unresolved, and what changed.

Clarity and voice
Malleus is not a ghostwriter. It should not fabricate, embellish, or silently replace your voice with generic AI prose. Sample language, when offered, is illustrative rather than presented as your final answer.
Malleus is currently free in private beta. In return, we ask testers for candid feedback about what helped, what did not, what felt generic or inaccurate, and what they actually used in a revision.
Request beta access
The test group is intentionally small. A request does not guarantee access, but the context helps us route the right applicants into the current learning cycle.
The current prototype runs through ChatGPT. Access instructions will explain how to use it and where to share application materials.
No. This request form stores only the intake information you provide here. Do not paste your essay or other sensitive material into the form.
